I've known the owner for YEARS! I absolutely lovw Oskars food is AWESOME, service is FAST, and employees are AMAZING! Grand Rapids Motorcycle Crew showed up with 25+ bikes today and enjoyed eating here.<br><br>Can't wait for more bike nights here.

Omg our first time here and the experience was amazing!! Lydia, our server is super sweet, very helpful, and someone who knows the food well!! My husband loved the breakfast pizza, it was so hearty. My hamburger is one of the best hamburgers I've ever had!!!! The tots are so good, especially with ketchup!!!! We will be back very soon for some more of your delicious food!!!!!

This place is so good! The homemade white bread and huge burger patties are amazing!! You get really nice quality here and the food is so fresh and hot! The fries are perfect, nice and crispy!!

It’s less like going to a restaurant and more like going to a loved family home. The hand painted walls are warm, the size is cozy, it’s clean, the staff are truly your friend, and the food is delightful. It’s great home cooked fare made with love. It’s worth a trip at least once if you’re within 50 miles.

I’ve been here 3 times now. Each time I received top notch service within the restaurant and the food was amazing. No shortcuts were taken! The Breakfast pizza is a must try!! The Olive Burger as well.😋

We always enjoy coming here. The laid back environment and good food keep us coming back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today Stacy and Michele were making sure I had everything I needed, even extra pickles. Btw try the pickle pizza! My husband loves the special burger and my kid the pancakes. The Italian sub is one of my favorite go to pickup orders but it is also great eating in. The pizza is probably my favorite in the area, love the crust and sauce. My husband said their Hawaiian is the best he has ever had.<br><br>Check them out if you are ever in the area!

Discovered this locsl gem, while in town for business. Met the owner who shared the personal history behind the name OSKAR Scots, as well as the history of their Philly Cheesesteak. Having lived in Center City for a year Philly, the challenge was accepted. Pleasantly surprised to find such a great Cheesesteak tucked away in the outskirts of Grand Rapids, MI. Two thumbs up and yes, it is a damn good sandwich. Wait staff was both friendly and attentive, checking back frequently enough and yet feeling rushed out.<br>Attached is a photo of half, as I split the order with a coworker as to avoid food coma due to a busy afternoon.

Went there this morning for breakfast. I got the biscuits and gravy and had them add a couple over easy eggs on top and a side of bacon. My wife got the ham and cheese omelette with sourdough toast. Both of our meals were amazing. The biscuits were fresh and soft, the gravy was probably the best I've ever had. The side of bacon was probably a half pound. Very good food, very big portions, very good service. We will definitely be back!

We always enjoy the food here. The Special burger is excellent! They have Great Breakfast too.

My husband was happy to get beef rib sandwich. They were plenty of cheese with it. The server, Michelle, was nice to accommodate my menu to my combo, just as I like it. Coffee was a little disappointed. It was too weak for my likes. Other than coffee, everything was great!

I rarely write reviews, but after a wonderful dining experience I felt I should. We had Lydia, and she is an excellent waitress. So friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to serve! It’s hard to find restaurants with servers who are hard working, kind, and happy to serve. Thanks for the good food and great service - looking forward to coming back!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast with my brothers before golf. Oskar Scots was a pleasant surprise.<br>It’s a local favorite but large enough not to have a crowded space. The service was excellent and the chef (Randy?) made our day with a personal delivery of our breakfast pizza —a first for me and one I’d recommend!

Very friendly, owner came out to talk with us. Made me feel safe, comfortable and welcomed in his establishment as a woman of color dining in a community that is not always so welcoming. Food was amazing!

Thank you Randy and staff for the delicious food and great service. There were 17 of us in our group for dinner and no complaints. Randy gave us a little history lesson on how the restaurant name came about. Beautiful murals in the walls and each mural has a special meaning.

Amazing breakfast, went for the first time yesterday and had the Farmer omelette with homemade white toast. Huge portions, food was amazing and Lydia did a great job taking care of us! Will definitely be coming back!

I am a friend of 50 years with the owner, but live in another state. I came in today with my family unannounced. We were welcomed in and given special treatment. The thing is... the staff didn't know of my history with Randy the owner. It turns out, everyone gets special treatment at Oskar Scots! Plus the food, atmosphere and service were all top notch! Thank you Sandy and Michele for giving us such a great time.

I think every town deserves a place as amazing as this one! All day breakfast is my absolute favorite and my husband and I very much enjoyed our meal yesterday along with our AMAZING server Sarah! We will most definitely be back!
